Suggestion for solar industry PR people: please stop using th ¨powers n homes¨ metric.

First, annual household electricity consumption varies greatly between counttries; Americn housholds use about twice as much as German, so it´s both vague and untranslateable. Second, household consumption varies diurnally and seasonally, so nobody has a simple imaginative grasp of whaht a household uses. Most people have a better idea of a kilowatt-hour: a large appliance, like a fridge or heater or toaster or air-conditioning unit, running for an hour. 100W light bulbs were an ideal metric but they are on the way out. So find a better unit of comparison, or just give us the kwh.
